ADDRESSING A CRITICAL COMMUNITY NEED

Project Overview: Mosaic Medical Detox Center will be a specialized facility offering comprehensive care for individuals experiencing acute substance withdrawal symptoms. Their mission is to provide 24-hour RN inpatient supervision, observation, and support in a safe and therapeutic environment. 

 

This state-of-the-art facility, designed in collaboration with Endeavor North Design, aims to address a critical need for acute substance use medical withdrawal management in our region. Our design approach focuses on creating a nurturing environment that promotes healing and balances the needs of the patient and caregiver.

Key Features:

  • Patient Focused Spaces:  The new facility will provide private patient rooms with bathrooms and other patient spaces conveniently located next to each other, providing a balance between patient privacy, and easy observation by staff.

​

  • Caregiver Centered:  At the center of the patient spaces are the caregiver/staff spaces with easy access to support spaces and visibility to all patient areas.  This provides a convenient and safe center of operations for staff.

​

  • Complimentary Services: Future phases foresee adjacent buildings housing complimentary services such as social detox and a low barrier shelter. 

​

Project Impact: Bismarck has long been a hub of healthcare excellence in our region, and the need for specialized detox services has been increasingly recognized. By establishing Mosaic Medical Detox Center here, they aim to fill a crucial gap in local healthcare infrastructure, ensuring that individuals in need of withdrawal management receive the highest quality care close to home.
